Thursdays Post

On Thursday we had a substitude teacher named Mrs.Rodgers and we didnt treat her very well. Most people were playing games I think because i was. We where suposed to be working on
Accelerated Math and notbook assignments on chapters 5-8 i think.

Well this class is super small due to sports and such.

we didn't learn anything new today.

Just catch up on textbook work explorations number 5,6,and 7. All notebook assignments starting at page 36 ending at 70, and Accelerated math.

Mr. Max will be back in class on monday.

Yes im super confused , this lesson is like really confusing I have no idea what im doing , its okay Jessica your not the only one that is confused.

Oh my! Is it just me or does anyone else not know how to do exploration 6? because I am having major difficulties here. Kay on question one when I divide the $395.00 by just IT which is 30% I get $1316.66 repeating! So i know that doesn't make sense because a deduction doesn't get higher. I'm actually so confused...

Mr. Max wants us to use 30% for income tax 4% for canadian pension plan and 2.5% for EI.

September 23rd

Today in class Mr.Max taught us about net pay and the different deductions. We learned how to set up the questions for Exploration 6. There are examples on page 58&59.

September 22/08

In class today... We had to hand in our mental math sheets because we where done the first ten.

Today we did mental math in the morning as just about every day, And Mr.Max went around and asked us if we were done our work.
After he told us not to be "burdened" with homework. Then told us the great news about the answers being in the back of nthe textbook. Try not to cheat.

Hey, well today is Thursday, Sept.11 / 08. Today we did mental math and we have to make a word glossary you can either do it the old fashion way on with a pen & paper or on your blog. We also have until tomorrow to post a practice post. Here are the details:
